Purchases through Paddle
Paddle is our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Refund requests and approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and the terms shown at checkout.
Requesting a refund
If a plugin is faulty, materially different from its description, or cannot operate on a system that met the published requirements at the time of purchase, contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. Please allow us a reasonable opportunity to help diagnose and resolve technical problems.
For other refund requests, contact us within 14 days of purchase. Because downloadable software is digital content, your cancellation rights may be affected if you expressly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge at checkout that this ends the statutory cooling-off right. This does not affect your rights where software is faulty or not as described.
What to include
- Your Paddle order or transaction number.
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The product name and reason for the request.
- For technical issues, your macOS version, plugin format, host application and relevant error details.
Refund outcome
We and Paddle will assess requests fairly and in line with applicable consumer law. If a refund is approved, access to the refunded product and its licence may be withdrawn. Bank processing times can vary after Paddle issues the refund.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. Consumers may have additional remedies where digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
